What I am loving Wednesday

Wednesday, August 29, 2012

candles! I love lighting new candles in new houses. It really makes it feel like home.

These sweet boys. They have been such troopers with all the moving and remodeling. They both got sick and I felt horrible. I think it was a combination of nerves and dog treats.

My hubby! He has been so great during this pregnancy, I can't wait to see him as a father!

little girl clothes! They are all so cute!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

My Nike Free's. I have been wearing these non stop. My feet have been killing me. These are the only things that have been giving me a little relief.

Now being back in K.C. I get to enjoy DQ all the time. YUM!

Fall coming up. I know it's not even September, but I couldn't be more excited for cold weather, holidays, and baking! Such an exciting time!

Highlight of the week: Getting her crib in and changing table. Here's a pic of it below.

Both are from the emelia collection from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child. I absolutely love their stuff. I got aged white, but it also comes in a really prety french grey. The changing table also comes with a topper, it's just not pictured above. I couldn't be happier with the quality. The bed actually switches to a toddler bed when she gets older. I can't wait to post pictures of the room once it's all done.

*We get internet at our new house next Monday, so I will finailly be able to upload pictures! Whoo Hoo. It's been a long time coming. Happy Monday!

Planners, calendars, and more

Friday, August 17, 2012

Have you heard about this company? Papercoterie? I heard about it through a friend and had to check it out when she told me they had planners half the price of the Erin Condren planner everyone talks about. Don't get me wrong I love my Erin Condren planner as long as I have a discount code to buy one. The one from Papercoterie are very similar in the sense you can personalize the cover. Not only are their planners great, but they have great calendars and photo books that you can personalize with your own photos. I haven't ordered anything, but was wondering if any of you have from this company and if so did you like their stuff?

Things for me and baby

Monday, August 6, 2012

I haven't really bought any clothes for baby, so when I was shopping online for some more maternity staples I though I would pick up a few new born outfits. Everyone keeps telling me that babies live in onesies for the first few months and not spend tons of money on frilly outfits just yet. I love these two. The first outfit is from old navy and the other from gap. They are so girly and sweet.

I just realized how much I need some more matrnity staples. I keep trying to get away with my normal clothes, but my jeans are so uncomfortable. I only have one pair of maternity jeans right now and they are Citizens. They are so comfy, but I know I need another pair with fall coming up. These gap jeans have gotten rave reveiws so I ordered a pair. I also ordered this little dress and a pair of charcoal grey leggings from Old Navy.

Happy Monday! Oh and I am so excited, we close on our house finially this Wednesday! We won't be able to move in until next Thursday, but I am happy everything is moving along!

Summer Reading List

Saturday, August 4, 2012

This one I already read. I really liked it considering it is a teen book. If you like twilight you will love this book. I think there are several books in the series.

This book I am so excited to read. The author is a teen best-selling author, but she has now started writing adult novels. This was in my US magazine as a good summer read.

People keep recomenndeding these two books for me to read, so I picked them up at the store last time I was there. I have only flipped through the pages, but I really need to just sit down and read them front to cover.  What books are on y'alls reading lists this summer!

Friday thoughts

Friday, August 3, 2012

I am loving my dogs new collars. They even have a glow in the dark clasp. Its so funny when they are crawling around our bed at night.

This planner has been my savior these past few weeks while trying to coordinate our move, doctors appoitments, and so much more.

boots! I am so stinking excited to be back in Kansas City and to enjoy fall. I am so over this weather. Bring on cold mornings, hot chocolate, and warm sweaters.

23 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

Total weight gain: I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the nurse said I gained 2 lbs. I think I am ranging between 16-18lbs. I still feel like I look small, but doctor said I am right on track and probably won't carry huge throughout my pregnancy.

Maternity clothes: dresses, yoga pants, and maternity jeans.

Gender: GIRL!!!!!

Movement: yes. I feel like her movement is been picking up more at night and getting stronger. I love feeling her move!

Sleep: okay...

Cravings: sweets all the time which I know is so bad! Especially with my glucose test coming up in 4 weeks!

Symptoms: round ligment pain! I have only had 2 or 3 times, but I don't like it!

Highlight of the week: Getting to hear little girls strong heartbeat yesterday.

**I know I said I was going to upload pictures last time and I haven't. Well we haven't moved yet and it turns out that I can only put my camera disk card in my printer to upload pictures. I do have lots to share, but its going to have to wait about 2 more weeks. We close on our house next week and then we are giving the sellers a few days to move out. I am anxiously waitint to move in, because we have so much to do. Here is a list of just a few:

*Decorate little girl's room ( I promise to share her name soon)
*put new countertops and cabinets in kitchen
*get entire house cleaned
*paint all walls and wood work
*put up crown molding
*do closet remodel

See how much we have to do! Can't wait for it all to come together!
