Florida 2014

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

We had so much fun this year in Florida. Scarlett was at a age that was so entertaining. She wanted to do everything. We took her to the beach almost everyday, except the last and she loved it most of the time. She didn't really love the sand on her hands. She kept coming over to us saying "off". She was really good about just lounging in the shade in one of our chairs and eating a snack. I also was super paranoid about her getting burnt, probably because she has the whitest skin ever, so I literally would put sunscreen on her and then spray sunscreen on her. I might have went over board, but hey she di not get burnt. We enjoyed our time together just the three of us before  our next little one gets here. It was very relaxing and just what we needed.

Eco Diva Beauty

Monday, June 23, 2014

No this is no not a sponsored post, but I wouldn't mind if it was, because I love this website so much! It has quickly become one of my go-tos when ordering beauty products online! Started by a mother and daughter who didn't like all the nasty chemicals going into all of our beauty products, they created a website that takes the guess work out of finding which products are safe to use. They don't carry thousands of brands which I like and the ones they do carry are really amazing. I placed an order last night and bought the One Love Organics Chia Seed oil and Soap Walla deodorant. Next on my list is the Chocolate Sun self tanner, which I've heard nothing but rave reviews on! Check them out!

Five on Friday

Friday, June 20, 2014

We have had a busy week. Maybe it's because I'm trying to fit in as much as I can while we are just a family of three...I'm loving all the memories we have been making. Scarlett is at such a great age and is amazing me everyday with just how much she knows. Love that little thing!

1. This is completely random, but then again it's five on Friday so this is what you get. I'm loving me some Kimchi! The benefits are amazing, especially for pregnant women. I'm talking all of our stir fry's with it. I got mine at Whole Foods.

2. We went to the new museum in town this week and loved it! It is really amazing, so for all you local folks you must go! We also hit up our favorite farm spot!

3. We celebrated Wes on Sunday with a father's day breakfast (biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls) and a trip to my Dad's.

4. We have been loving the pool lately. Scarlett is so content just sitting in the baby pool and filling up her bucket with water. Luckily on Wednesday, Scarlett's Aunties joined us.

5. Can we just swoon over this top from Antro for a second. Thanks for reading and have a good weekend!

Gender Reveal

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

We found out what we were having very early. I had an appointment at 15 1/2 weeks and begged the Doctor to let find us out early. She caved and said yes! The sonogram technician asked us to  make our guesses. I guessed girl, Wes guessed boy... Then as soon as I looked up on the screen the sonogram technician said Momma is wrong, it's a BOY. I think I was in shock for the first few seconds. I just assumed it would be another girl, but I can say we are both thrilled to death that its a boy. We are over the moon excited for this new adventure. We told our families the next night with these adorable free printables from One Dog Woof. They were so fun to do and I am so happy we did them.

Happy Monday!

We had an interesting weekend... On Thursday Scarlett had her 18 month appointment that went really well other then the doctor saying we needed to cut out the pacifier right away especially before the new baby got here. Scarlett is very attached to her paci at nap times and bed time, so I of course might have had a minor meltdown thinking about how all this would go down. Let's just say it hasn't been as bad as I thought. Don't get me wrong there has been some fair share of crying going on, but not as hysterical as I thought. I hope after this week, she will be back to going down smoothly without any crying. Just a tip for any mommas out there trying to do the same thing...we cut the tips of her pacis and told her they were broken, I think this helped a little. So overall other then taking the paci away, it was a good one. Wes and I saw the Edge of Tomorrow which was so good! And then we went to a fun dinner on Sunday and a new burger place. Here are some pictures.
